6-30-2014 This is the last day of GAETI. I am going to miss the people that I have gotten to know over this month. I have learned so many ideas that I know that I will use in my classroom. I pray everyone have a great school year and rest of the remaining summer break. I know we learned many great things that we will use in the upcoming school year.

06-27-2014 I enjoyed the presentations today. I know that I will be able to use some of the resources from them in my classroom as well. I gave a skeleton overview of my presentation on the civil rights participants in Mississippi. All of my resources are on my weebly website. It includes my lesson plan as well as my full Power Points, my Qr's for my jigsaw classroom activity,and my formal evaluation in a quiz. I have learned a great deal from this workshop.

06-26-2014 I am working on my lesson plan for tomorrow. I presented my art project. I am pleased with it. I did the scales of justice. The glass pieces that I put on the scales made the scales stand out to help also to identify it. I have so many different websites and other technology that I can do for my lesson plan. We went to T.K.Martin Center. I was very impress with the different technology that the center has to help adults and students. I am learning so much.

06-25-2014 My art project is complete. My lesson plan is still being worked on. I feel overwhelm because I feel that time is going fast and I have not had enough time to work on it. We learned about copy right copy wrong. Mrs. Cannady gave us many examples of what we thought was wrong or right in the case studies. Many of us determined that we have at some point and time copied wrong. I also learned how to put my voice to Powerpoint and up load it to Youtube. I also learned how to put my voice to a picture and embed it on Audioboo. I am learning so many different websites that I can use for the classroom. I just have to sit and think of how I want to get my lesson plan implemented.

6-24-2014 We did canvas in Allen's computer lab. We set up a class. This is a great tool but I do not know if I will be able to implement this in my classroom. My art project is coming along. I fused together glass which was fun for me. I learn something new in Show and Tell called ClassFlow it is something like Canvas. I also learned new ways to do Powerpoint but I am set on trying to do prezie. I realized that my technology skills are limited when using technology. I realized that my students are great at doing technology because they are always on technology whether it is a smartphone, ipad, tablet, or gaming device. I realize that I am only only on technology when I have to do something. I do not play around with technology that is probably why my skills are limited. My lesson plan is coming along as well. I do not have time at home to do it and when we are at the workshop we do not have extra time to work on it. I hope to implement some of the new ideas that I learn in it.

06-23-2014 The visit to the the library was very informative about how to use prezi and how to use ipads in the classroom. I do not have an ipad, but from the Mrs. Agnew library's presentation as well as Dr.Lee's presentation there is so much you can do with it that can be useful in the classroom. I am going to use the prezi as part of my induction to my students. There is a template where you can up load your information. I also learn valuable information from the Mrs. Agnew's library presentation that I can upload the powerpoints that I have into a prezi which is so helpful. My school has a cart where they have a classroom set of ipads but they are booked up where I did not get a chance to use them last school year. There is so much technology that teachers can use in the classroom to engage students' learning. I am learning so much.

06-20-2014 I enjoyed the many websites that I learned about today. I know that I will use the my story with the canvas and the livebinders. I also enjoyed looking at the gardenquest. I have used gardenquest in my classroom before. I am just excited about using the new ideas and resources that I have acquired at this workshop. I also enjoyed show and tell. When I was able to share my knowledge of what I used in the classroom and provided helpful ideas for my peers with keepvid for saving youtube videos to your desktop or usb drive. I am learning so much.
