I enjoyed doing my testimony and my music video. I really enjoyed GAETI both times 2014 and present. I enjoyed how everything was set up. It was no question on what we would be doing each day. I enjoyed the guest speaks. I really really enjoyed Mr. Bailey and Mr. Ware because they really said things that I could relate to. The blogging also gave time to reflect on the activities for that day. I also got a change to reconnect with old friends and I had to opportunity to make new ones. Thank you so much, Dr. Bracey for inviting me the second time around.

I enjoyed the speakers today because I could relate to a great deal of what they were talking about. Mr. Bailey describe his school setting and I could relate to what he said about students want security in schools. Students want to feel save in schools. I remember my high school days and the threat of being safe was not on students mine. The only thing that students may have feared was a parent coming to the school to discipline them. The websites that he gave us seem like they will work in my classroom. I planning on trying them. I also enjoyed the vocabulary presentation because it gave us strategies to use in the classroom. Students do not like vocabulary and the presentation made it fun for students while they learn at the same time.

I learned a great deal about conference posters through web publisher. I now know how to do them. I always wondered about how they were formatted and made. I am excited about having an account on ancestry.com. I was able to see my parents grave and the story behind the people that went to the grave site and took the pictures. I was really amazed about this. I will keep looking on ancestry to see if I can find more family members. I learned more information about fake news. I know as a teacher we stress the importance about having credible sources to our students. I now have information that I can give to my students when we started looking for sources for current events, and projects. My art project is coming along. I am excited to see what it will turn out to be. I am really enjoying myself.

I enjoyed learning about the 3D printers and the web page design. I was a little confused on the web page design because you have to have the code written perfect for it to come out right. I am enjoying the art project because I know last time I had doubts about my project but it came out great in the end. I found the adobe story board interesting but I find it easy to do and it is not a long draw out process. I really love getting together with fellow educators so close to school starting back.

I enjoyed getting together with my old friends from GAETI 2014 and new friends. I really enjoyed the presenter Mr. Ware. He used real things that worked for his classroom and school. He was really funny and relevant. I also enjoyed our art projects. I know that I will post mines in the classroom because I will be teaching World History and I will be doing a lesson on the Industrial Revolution so my art project will be relevant to what I will be teaching. I also enjoyed the couple dealing with music. I enjoyed how they used music to get students attention. I am exciting about being in this workshop because it was very beneficial last time and I know that it will be beneficial this time around as well.

I learned a lot about Camtasia using a digital storytelling. I have used Media Movie Maker which is very similar to this. I would used this is my classroom. I enjoyed my time in the GAETI workshop and I have learned many tremendous things this school year using the techniques I have learned.

September 13,2014-Follow-up-Floreline Sawyer

September 13, 2014 I enjoyed seeing everyone. I also enjoyed learning about how everyone's school year is going. I learned how to do a newspaper with Dr. Lee that I can use in my class. I did a project with my students where they had do a newspaper article about the inventors of the Industrial Revolution. Next time, I will do the way we did it in the follow-up training. I believe my students will enjoy it better. I will try to implement more of the technology in my classroom. I have used the knowledge and materials from the summer in my classroom. I look forward to implementing more technology and knowledge in my room as time goes on.
